Southline Shamrocks - Travel Baseball & Softball Tryouts

Southline Little League is home of the Southline Shamrocks - the league's travel program!

For players who want a more competitive approach, travel baseball & softball offers the chance to compete against teams from other local communities and even outside of the Western New York area. Travel players are require to play house.

Listed below are details on upcoming travel tryouts. All tryouts will take place in August 2021 at the league's diamonds, located at 288 N. Seine Dr., in Cheektowaga, NY. Teams will be formed after tryouts and will compete during the 2021-22 season.

8U Shamrocks (Baseball):
Tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, August 7 at 10 a.m. Players cannot turn 9 before 5/1/22. Those attending should arrive by 9:45 to check-in and come dressed in baseball attire - pants, cleats, cup, etc. Players must bring their own equipment.

Lastly, you must register for the 8U tryouts by providing the name and DOB of the players trying out. Register by contacting Head Coach Mike Rogers at [email protected] or (716) 264-3938. Please contact Mike with any questions as well.

10U & 11U Shamrocks (Baseball):
Tryouts are scheduled for Wednesday, August 18 at 6 p.m. Players trying out for the 10U team cannot turn 11 before 5/1/22. Players trying out for the 11U team cannot turn 12 before 5/1/22. Those attending tryouts should arrive by 5:45 to check-in and come dressed in baseball attire - pants, cleats, cup, etc. Players must bring their own equipment.

10U Shamrocks (Softball):
Tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, August 14 at 9 a.m. Players trying out cannot turn 11 before 1/1/22. Those attending tryouts should arrive by 8:45 to check-in and come dressed in softball attire.

Tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, August 19 at 6 p.m. Players trying out cannot turn 13 before 1/1/22. Those attending tryouts should arrive by 5:45 to check-in. Players should come dressed in softball attire.
