Registration for the 2024 baseball and softball seasons , however divisions may fill up prior to the close of registration. In the event that a division is full, you will be prompted with a waiting list sign up. There is no cost to sign up for the wait list. In the event that a waiting list is formed, additional children will be added as spots become available based on the order of the waiting list. Registration will be online only at https://www.southlinesports.com.
Scheduling
Season - Our season season starts in early May for all divisions with the regular season, weather depending, ending before the July 4th weekend. Playoffs for upper divisions (8U-15U) will take place after the July 4th weekend with the season concluding in mid July. All Star games will take place for 8U, 10U and 12U baseball divisions before the conclusion of the playoffs and in conjunction with the playoff schedule.
All teams will play on Friday or Saturday with games starting at 10AM and the latest game starting at 8PM, however T-Ball and Coach Pitch will not start a game later than 6PM. Games played Monday through Thursday will only be played at 6PM. Upper divisions may have 8PM start times during weekday games once the school year has concluded.
Practice - Practice schedules are established by coaches, however you should anticipate one practice per week, with upper divisions possibly having two practices per week. Practices typically start in April and, for lower divisions, conclude when the season begins. Upper divisions will continue to have practice at the coaches discretion.
Game Length
T-Ball - 60 minutes (2-3 innings)
Coach Pitch - 90 minutes (3 innings)
8U/10U/12U - 6 innings (2 hour time limit)
Registration Costs
Every player is responsible to participate in our league fundraiser. Each player will receive (4) $10.00 Lottery Calendars, which will provided to you by your coach at season start. The $40.00 fee is included with registration. Once the calendars are sold, families keep the money and return the calendar for to the snack stand. Lottery winners are posted online and checks will be mailed accordingly.
Each family is also responsible for a $75 Snack Stand Fee, which is 100% refundable upon completion of one two-hour shift worked at our snack stand. An online sign up form will be distributed to all parents after registration closes.
