Bat Information

Southline Little League follows the National Little League Guidelines, which permit USA Baseball certified bats in all divisions.

T-Ball/Coach Pitch - USA Baseball bats have specific bats designated as T-Ball bats. These bats are contracted with thinner barrels and lower compression, resulting in lighter weight, and are the type of bat that should be used in these divisions. More information on these bats can be found here.

8U/10U/12U/15U - USA Bats are the only bats allowed in league play. Any player found utilizing a non-USA Baseball bat will be asked to use a different bat prior to the beginning of the at bat, and will be an automatic out if found utilizing a non-USA Baseball bat during or after the at bat. Any non-USA Baseball bat found during game play will be removed from the game.

*Note that T-Ball bats are not permitted to be used for players moving from Coach Pitch to 8U as T-Ball bats are constructed to be used with safety balls that are utilized in lower divisions. Hard balls used in upper division play will dent T-Ball bats and may cause them to shatter.
